ANGELA C. NI is a Director and Corporate Counsel at Parabellum Capital LLC in New York City where she heads underwriting for all investment verticals. As a member of the investment team, she is responsible for the analysis, due diligence, and evaluation of investment merits and risks.
Ms. Ni also leads Parabellum’s data science strategies and its effort in integrating cognitive and advanced analytic levers to provide data-driven insights for litigation outcome analysis. Ms. Ni has spoken at various forums on litigation funding as well as legal tech, and was recently recognized as a 2020 Thought Leader in Third-Party Funding by Who’s Who Legal.
Prior to joining Parabellum, Ms. Ni litigated complex IP and commercial cases for over 12 years at firms, including Paul Hastings LLP, Darby & Darby P.C., and Robins Kaplan LLP. While in private practice, Ms. Ni was named a Rising Star in IP Litigation by Super Lawyers for multiple consecutive years and recognized among the Top Women Attorneys in the New York Metro Area.
Ms. Ni received her B.S. from MIT, M.P.H. from Yale University, and graduated, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Yale Alumni in Public Health and the MIT Educational Council.

Daryl Shetterly is a Six Sigma Black Belt, is the Director of Orrick Analytics, and helps manage Orrick’s Global Operations and Innovation Center in Wheeling, WV. Daryl’s passion is changing the way Big Law delivers legal services by bringing innovation and business process to the practice of law. The Financial Times recognized Orrick Analytics with awards in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) recognized Orrick Analytics with its Value Champion Award for building a smart contracts model with the law department of Applied Materials.
Daryl manages a team of 30+ tech-savvy attorneys, 100+ contract attorneys, analysts that handle project management, perform big data analysis and statistical modelling, and technologists that build bots, scripts and tools that increase quality and reduce human effort. Daryl’s team designs processes, workflows, templates and document automation used by dedicated project managers to deliver project plans and enable data-driven budgeting and decision-making. As an early adopter of artificial intelligence and machine learning, Daryl’s team uses technology to augment due diligence and drafting tasks, TAR and continuous active learning for litigation projects, and advanced tools for concept and sentiment analysis.
Daryl’s mission is straightforward: enhance the accuracy, speed and security of scalable legal work, generate insights specific to the engagement and reduce client cost.

Flyn Flesher is Senior Manager of Knowledge Management Counsel for the 850+ attorney labor and employment law firm of Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart, P.C. The KM Counsel team’s responsibilities include creating processes, best practices, and templates to leverage the firm’s institutional knowledge; identifying technological tools that help attorneys work more effectively and efficiently for firm clients (and helping to train attorneys how to use those tools); helping practice areas and client teams collaborate and manage their content; providing updates on legal developments; and fostering knowledge-sharing among attorneys.
In 2018, Mr. Flesher created Ogletree’s internal chatbot to help with answering firm employees’ frequently asked questions, for which Ogletree won the International Legal Technology Association’s (ILTA) 2019 Transformation Project of the Year Award. Mr. Flesher was also named one of ILTA’s 2019 Young Professionals to Watch.
Before joining the firm’s Knowledge Management Department, Mr. Flesher’s practice focused on the representation of management in employment-related litigation before state and federal courts, including class and collective actions. He has represented clients in numerous wage-and-hour cases and cases alleging discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, sex, age, disability, and military membership. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Flesher counseled employers on a broad range of labor and employment matters, particularly with respect to wage and hour issues.
Mr. Flesher received his J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 2007. While attending William and Mary, Mr. Flesher served as editor-in-chief of the William and Mary Journal of Women and the Law and competed on both the moot court and mock trial teams.

Ludwig has published a number of research papers and remains involved in academic projects at Imperial College London and Cambridge, where he studied.
